Chelsea Parkway/Bethel Avenue

Here is what PennDOT has planned for the Chelsea Parkway/Bethel Avenue intersection:*

• Reconstruct the intersection to provide four through lanes on U.S. 322 (Conchester Highway)
• Reconstruct left turn lane from eastbound U.S. 322 (Conchester Highway) onto Chelsea Parkway
• Adding a deceleration lane for right turns from westbound U.S. 322 (Conchester Highway) onto Chelsea Parkway
• Reconstruct Chelsea Parkway from Chichester Avenue to the U.S. 322 (Conchester Highway)/Chelsea Parkway intersection
• Manage Bethel Avenue access from U.S. 322 (Conchester Highway) by constructing a "T" intersection with U.S. 322 (Conchester Highway)/Chelsea Parkway and rerouting traffic onto Chelsea Parkway and Chichester Avenue
• Upgrading traffic signals
